Benzler FarmsBio: Benzler Farms, located near Fresno, California, supplies Wildtime Foods with its organic Thompson and organic flame raisins. The raisins we generally think of when we think, "raisin", are made from Thompson grapes, a seedless green grape. The grapes turn brown during the drying process. Thompson raisins have a more delicate flavor than flame raisins and we have used Benzler raisins for the last couple years and we are very pleased with their quality. Most raisins, including those you get in the store, have stems mixed in with them. We carefully go through all our raisins and pick out any stems or other material. We have found that Benzler Farm raisins require considerably less of this sorting than any other raisin we have used. Benzler raisins, Thompson and flame, are consistently sweet, plump and clean.
